(LifeSiteNews) — The hot weather in some parts of the United States in the middle of the summer is the fault of “MAGA Republicans,” according to former Secretary of State and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Clinton shared a graphic from a leftist advocacy group called CAP Action that celebrated President Joe Biden’s massive spending spree in support of fighting “climate change.”
“Hot enough for you? Thank a MAGA Republican. Or better yet, vote them out of office,” Clinton said. “MAGA Republican” is a catch-all term used by Democrats to refer to most center-right people who oppose abortion or want to see fiscal restraint.
“MAGA Republicans are pouring fuel on the climate crisis fire,” CAP Action wrote in its tweet.
It was not clear why Republicans were to blame for the alleged increase in temperature for voting no on Biden’s spending bill – the “Inflation Reduction Act” was passed and signed into law.
