Christian Declarations of Strength, Hope and Courage!

Many times we become distanced from ourselves and our world. The further we get from Gods word, the more we are filled with lies from the enemy. The best way to defeat these thoughts is to become grounded in the word of God. The more you fill your mind with healing scripture and affirmations, you gain confidence in your walk with God.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:9)

I will be strong and courageous. I will not be afraid or discouraged because the Lord will be with me wherever I go.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (Proverbs 31:30)

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. (John 6:37)

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)

I will not fear, for the Lord is with me; I will not be not dismayed, for the Lord is my God; He will strengthen me, He will help me, He will uphold me with His righteous right hand.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. (Hebrews 10:35)
I will not throw away my confidence, which has a great reward.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139:14)
I will praise my God; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. (Proverbs 28:1)
I am as bold as a lion.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Hebrews 13:6)
The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what any man shall do unto me.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)

I am not conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of my mind, by testing I discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. (Psalm 28:7)

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

When I cry the Lord answers and encourages me with strength in my soul.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. (1Peter 4:7)

I am sober minded and constant in prayer.

As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love. 10If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love (John 15:9-10)

As the Father loved Jesus, Jesus loved me. I remain in Jesus’ love by keeping His commandments.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (Romans 5:1-5)

Being justified with faith I have peace with God through my Lord Jesus Christ. Through Jesus I have access by faith into grace. I stand in this grace and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Not only that, I glory in tribulations because I know that tribulation works patience; and patience, experience; and experience hope. With hope I am unashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost which was given to me.

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (Mark 9:23)
All things are possible because I believe.

Jesus came to give us more abundant life. I live the life Jesus came to give in abundance.

The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. (Proverbs 10:28-29)

My hope brings joy. The expectations of the wicked will perish. The way of the LORD is my strength!

For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. (Proverbs 23:18)

I have an abundant and beautiful future, for the Lord brings beauty from ashes. My hope will not be cut off.

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (Hebrews 6:19, 20)

I lay hold upon the hope set before me. This sure and steadfast hope is the anchor of my soul.

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) (2 Cor. 5:7)
I have faith for things beyond what I can see.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

(Proverbs 3:1-4)

I keep the commandments in my heart because they add length to my life and peace. I bind mercy and truth about my neck and write them on the table of my heart that I may find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
