Gates Foundation Manipulated United Nations Over Genetically Modified Mosquitoes, Gene Drives

According to information obtained through Freedom of Information requests the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, through a PR firm, manipulated the United Nations over Gene Drives by recruiting a covert coalition of academics to manipulate the decision-making process.

Gene drives are a highly controversial genetic extinction technology as our entire ecosystem, people’s livelihoods, and our food system is at stake. According to Wikipedia; “In genetics, gene drive is the phenomenon in which the inheritance of a particular gene or set of genes is favorably biased. Gene drive can arise through a variety of mechanisms and results in its prevalence increasing in a population. Engineered gene drives have been proposed to provide an effective means of genetically modifying populations or even whole species.”

Let’s Review;

Just last year microcephaly was a major headline and as it turns out so were Genetically Modified Mosquitoes.

From 2016 during the microcephaly crisis:

It is not yet known what is causing the massive outbreak of childbirth defects, but “research” shows that it strongly points to the Zika virus. However, there is a catch. Unbeknownst to some, Genetically modified mosquitoes have also been getting unleashed in the same area, and around the same time period that this outbreak began. Bill Gates, the man of Microsoft, the eugenicist, funded these GM mosquitoes as a way to combat disease carrying mosquitoes. These unnatural mosquitoes will undoubtedly have an effect on the environment; the question is what.

The specific carrier of the Zika virus is a species of mosquito called the Aedes; these are the same mosquitoes that spread Dengue and Chikungunya viruses. The “Friendly Aedes mosquito,” is the one that is genetically modified. The same species of mosquito is causing this outbreak. Without a shadow of a doubt more should be done to question if this epidemic is being caused by the genetically modified mosquito.

Going forward;

The Gates Foundation has worked to accrue a behemoth of an organization to sway the ‘public opinion’ over gene drives by hiring a PR firm called Emerging Ag.

Emerging Ag which calls itself, “a boutique international consulting firm providing communications and public affairs services,” reveals through released emails their efforts in the matter.

The FOIA emails reveal that the project coordinated by Emerging Ag was dubbed the “Gene Drive Research Sponsors and Supporters coalition,” and consisted of three members of a UN committee called the Ad Hoc Technical Expert Group on Synthetic Biology (AHTEG). In addition, a larger group of 65 was also covertly recruited.

According to Independent Science News (See Works Cited);

The AHTEG on Synthetic Biology is part of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). This AHTEG is tasked with creating a formal set of regulatory recommendations to help governments avoid negative impacts on biodiversity. Its recommendations are supposed to draw from the discussions of an online forum of experts called The UN CBD Online Forum on Synthetic Biology.

The AHTEG on Synthetic Biology is about to meet, on December 5, 2017, in Montreal, where gene drive issues raised in that online forum are expected to be a significant focus of discussions.

The three AHTEG members who coordinated with Emerging Ag are Dr. Todd Kuiken of North Carolina State University, Robert Friedman of the J Craig Venter Institute, and Professor Paul Freemont of Imperial College, London. The first and last represent teams and institutions that have received at least $99 million dollars between them from the U.S. military and U.S. foundations, including Gates, to develop and test gene drive systems.

Again according to the emails, The Gates’ Foundation funded Emerging Ag to “fight back against gene drive moratorium proponents.” The funding began in December 2016 after the last meeting of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, held in Cancún, Mexico. At this meeting over 170 international organizations requested for a UN moratorium on gene drives.

The emails further reveal that the primary task of the hired organizations was to ‘stack’ the UN’s CBD Online Forum on Synthetic Biology.

Once more according to Independent Science News, The Key role of the Gates’ foundation;

Delphine Thizy, cited in the email above, works at Target Malaria in London, England. Target Malaria is a Gates-funded project to use gene drives against mosquitoes.

Emerging Ag’s activities were overseen by Jeff Chertack who is Senior Program Officer of Global Policy and Advocacy at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He is a former public affairs executive from Ogilvy PR who previously represented biotech and pharma giants in Brussels. Chertack sat on the co-ordination team of Emerging Ag’s “Gene Drive Research Sponsors and Supporters coalition” and is copied on several strategy calls and co-ordination phone calls.

This is also not the first time that the Gates Foundation has used academics to influence public and private opinion on genetic engineering technologies, as witnessed by its funding of the Cornell Alliance for Science.

Previously, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was tossed out of India because of a conflict of interest with big pharma organizations and the vaccinations that were being given to children. Now, that same foundation is manipulating the United Nations moratorium. The Foundation hired a PR firm to sway opinions and potentially the outcome of today’s meeting which could result in the manipulation of our ecosystem all for profit.
