The signs of the times are all around us, are you looking up? Are you awake? Recently in Chicago a shelf cloud turned the morning into night, instantly.

What is being called the ‘Whale’s Mouth,’ suddenly appeared on radar and practically devoured the entire city.

A shelf cloud is a low, horizontal wedge-shaped cloud, associated with a thunderstorm gust front – or occasionally with a cold front.
