Several news reports have recently circulated that claim Donald Trump plans to leave the Climate Change Paris Agreement. The exit is being treated like the Brexit by the United Nations.
The nations involved with this agreement have mostly rebuked the President for wanting to leave the deal.
Breitbart reported that Donald Trump would exit the deal citing sources close to the situation.
Trump stoked the flames on Twitter of a possible announcement coming within a few days;
“I will be announcing my decision on the Paris Accord over the next few days,” he wrote. “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
The decision by Trump to leave the Paris agreement would desecrate the Obama legacy and fulfill a key campaign promise.
America leaving the Climate Change Accord would disallow special interest groups within the UN one of the many footholds into America’s energy market.
Steve Bannon and Scott Pruitt have both urged the president to keep his promise to the American people and kill the deal, but with only days remaining, only time will tell on the Presidents final decision.
