Canadian postal workers protest COVID shot mandate ahead of Nov. 26 deadline

MONTREAL (LifeSiteNews) – On Monday dozens of postal workers in Montreal protested against the vaccine mandate that goes into effect for all Canada Post employees in the country on Friday.

The country’s national postal service’s sweeping vaccine mandate requires all workers to receive one of the experimental COVID jabs by Friday or be placed on unpaid leave indefinitely.

“My vaccination status is my health, and it belongs to me,” one Canada Post employee told Rebel News, who covered the protest. “My employer has no right to request it from me. He can’t require those who are not vaccinated to have it. He can’t require me to reveal… my status, exactly.”

Despite being exempt from the federal government’s vaccine mandate, Canada Post decided to enact its own policy anyway, keeping “in line with the federal government’s approach” of compliance with forced injection as a condition of employment.

Much like Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s vaccine mandate for federal workers, Canada Post’s policy does not allow for a testing option, and it also applies to those who work from home.
