MEDICINE HAT, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) — Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says her medical advisors have reached out to former Trump administration adviser Dr. Paul Alexander, an epidemiologist known for his strong criticism of COVID injections and government lockdowns.
“I’ve got a group of doctors advising me and I know that they’ve already reached out to Dr. Paul Alexander,” Smith said last week during a candidates debate for the Medicine Hat-Brooks byelection taking place on Tuesday.
“So, I’m interested in hearing what he has to say.”
According to Smith’s press secretary Rebecca Polak, Smith – along with her Minister of Health Jason Copping – is constructing a “diverse” group of “qualified” medical professionals to advise her newly-formed government on a variety of health issues.
Polak noted that the new group of advisors will be announced in full by the end of the year, but did not make it clear whether Alexander will be a part of said team.
In 2020, Alexander – who is a Canadian researcher and epidemiologist with expertise in evidence-based medicine –was recruited from his role as a pandemic
