Gender-confused man begins serving life sentence for triple murder in California women’s prison

(LifeSiteNews) – A biologically male triple murderer began serving his life sentence in a women’s prison last month, thanks to the permissive gender laws of far-left California.

California LGBT activist David Wakefield, who later “transitioned” to living as a woman named Dana Rivers, was arrested in 2016 for slaying a lesbian couple and their 19-year-old son. “Police said the two women were both stabbed and shot, and the man was stabbed. They were pronounced dead at the scene,” the Sacramento Bee reported at the time. “Police said Rivers was covered in blood and about to ride away on [Charlotte] Reed’s motorcycle when she was arrested.”

Wakefield/Rivers, a former teacher, surgical and chemical “transition” recipient, and San Francisco “pride” parade honorary marshal, was sentenced to life in prison on June 14 and incarcerated at Central California Women’s Facility two days later, The Daily Wire reported. California has allowed biological males to be housed with female inmates since 2021.
