Gov. DeSantis files complaint against Miami bar that holds sexually explicit drag show for children

(LifeSiteNews) –  Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) served a complaint on Tuesday against a Miami bar after films showed it puts on sexually explicit drag shows in front of young children.

Earlier in July, Libs of TikTok tagged DeSantis as it tweeted a video showing a drag queen with exposed breasts and a money-stuffed thong lead a girl under the age of five, by hand, in a display for the “R House” bar in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami.

The restaurant’s menu shows it offers a kids’ brunch special for 12 and under, the cost of which includes R House’s “fabulous” drag show. 

DeSantis shared during a Wednesday press conference that when it was found that the drag shows catered to children, the DBPR “looked under Florida law and were able to initiate this procedure that would basically take away the liquor license for that.”
