Libertarians ‘relishing’ role in Kentucky gubernatorial upset: Fox News

    Kentucky Libertarians reportedly “appear to be relishing” their role as “spoilers’ in the gubernatorial election that now looks to be in the hands of state Attorney General Andy Beshear, who pulled off an upset win over Gov. Matt Bevin, although Bevin has yet to throw in the towel.

    Major media outlets are giving this contest plenty of attention as a “blow to President Donald Trump.” NBC News gave slightly less attention to the victory of Trump-endorsed Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves to become Mississippi’s next governor, succeeding term-limited Phil Bryant.

    But according to Fox News, Kentucky Libertarians are not unhappy that the reportedly unpopular Bevin could be on his way out. In a message on Facebook, the party reportedly stated, “We are always happy to split the vote in a way that causes delicious tears. Tonight there are plenty of delicious tears from Bevin supporters.”

    Bevin had tangled with public employees and had other troubles during his tenure. After all precincts had reported, Fox News said Bevin was trailing Beshear by 5,333 votes out of 1.4 million ballots counted. That small a margin
