Pelosi’s replacement will be Hakeem Jeffries, a radical leftist who called the 2016 election illegitimate

WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) — Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives won’t be replacing far-left outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi with a more moderate choice, Americans learned Wednesday.

Democrats selected leftist New York Rep. Hakeem Jeffries to fill Pelosi’s shoes as House Minority Leader after the radically pro-abortion San Francisco representative announced last month she wouldn’t pursue re-election to her role leading the party.

Pelosi’s decision to step down came as Republicans were officially projected to take over the House, setting up a major roadblock to the Biden administration’s national legislative agenda.

Conservative outlets and commentators have pointed out that the replacement for Pelosi, a divisive and far-left figure, shows no signs of reaching across the aisle with committed conservatives.
