BRASILIA, Brazil (LifeSiteNews) — Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro published tweets supporting the unborn just hours after the U.S. Supreme Court reversed the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.
On June 24, following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the Brazilian government published two pro-life tweets, one from the pro-life president’s account and one from the government’s official account.
“May God continue to give strength and wisdom to those who protect the innocence and future of our children, in Brazil and in the world. Good evening, everyone!” read an English translation of Bolsonaro’s tweet.
“Brazil defends life and family as Constitutional precepts and, since 2019, the Brazilian government has been adopting measures to strengthen what the legislation determines,” tweeted the Brazilian government.
