Oklahoma governor signs order banning gender-confused men from female bathrooms, prisons

OKLAHOMA CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Oklahoma has instituted further protections for females in light of ongoing problems with gender-confused men “identifying” as women and entering women-only spaces such as prisons and locker rooms.

Governor Kevin Stitt’s Aug 1. executive order defines “male” and “female” using biologically correct terminology. It provides similar, fact-based definitions for “mother,” “father,” “man,” “boy,” and “sex.”

The executive order also requires correctional facilities to “provide dedicated facilities for men and women respectively.”

“Likewise, schools are directed to provide dedicated restrooms and locker room facilities for boys and girls, respectively,” the order states.

Gov. Stitt noted the order had support from both liberal and conservative groups. He said it will address the “unfounded confusion” over the question “What is a woman,” (popularized by Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh).

The Women’s Bill of Rights Executive Order “was drafted by Independent Women’s Voice and Independent Women’s Law Center (IWLC) in collaboration with the left-leaning feminist organization Women’s Liberation Front (WoLF),” the governor’s office noted.
