Christians everywhere celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ yesterday on Resurrection Sunday. Unfortunately, some celebrities took the day out of concept, and celebrated Easter in all the wrong ways. Miley Cyrus did a spread for Vogue in which she provocatively posed as the Easter bunny in a basket surrounded by eggs.
The transformation of country music into what now sounds like basic pop with a little twang is a sad reflection of the deteriorating country culture. With the world becoming rapidly urbanized, factory farms replacing homesteads, and corporations swallowing up small businesses, it's not surprising the deep country of the past is being weeded out and replaced with what country artist Kacey Musgraves calls "cosmic country."
The International Society for the study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) just finished their 35th annual conference last weekend in Chicago, in which they discussed "where thought leaders in treatment, research, and training are headed" and apparently the Satanic Temple found the conference a to be a threat.
I never thought I’d see the day when our country would come to a place where we were not allowed to share our views, thoughts, beliefs and opinions. This is a wake up call for all Americans!
