Hostile aircraft launched an attack against northern Israel on Wednesday night, Israel time, entering the country from Lebanon.
Sirens blared across northern Israel and the government urged citizens there to shelter.

The details of the attack are unclear, but Lebanon’s Hezbollah terrorist group and other terrorists in the area are known to have drones and gliders.
Hezbollah had been firing anti-tank missiles at an Israeli military position earlier Wednesday which forced Israel to respond with shelling into southern Lebanon.
