A crazy red dust storm kicked up in Libya, which turned the skies blood red. Winds of up to 30 miles per hour (48 kph) are forecast for the area tonight and tomorrow with a drop to 17 miles per hour (27 kph) expected on Tuesday. Red dust storms can increase air pollution to âvery high levelsâ and aggravate breathing problems, irritating lungs and increasing asthma.
This strange phenomena has happened before and will happen again; the incident turns the skies into this creepy, bloody red. These sandstorms affect Libya between the months of January and June. Australian Video.
