SACRAMENTO, California (LifeSiteNews) – Proposed legislation to mandate COVID jabs for all workers in California has died without a vote, according to Republican Assemblyman Kevin Kiley.
“We’ve defeated AB 1993, the employer vaccine mandate,” Kiley tweeted on March 29. “The author just announced she will not move it forward.”

The legislation would require every employer starting on January 1, 2023 to certify that every employee and independent contractor had taken an abortion-tainted COVID jab.
Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks paused the bill, due to pushback from public safety unions, according to The Sacramento Bee. Wicks said she believes the unions “will ultimately come to the table to make sure all of their workers are vaccinated, and that every job sector in California has the tools necessary to keep their workers safe from COVID-19.”
