(LifeSiteNews) –– Official statistics released by managers of Canada’s Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) show that to date, only 103 of the 1,859 claims associated with the COVID-19 shots have been paid out, and the total sum already approaches $7 million.
VISP was launched in December 2020 after the Canadian government gave vaccine makers a shield from liability regarding COVID-19 jab-related injuries.
The 103 claims that have been approved to date are, as noted by VISP, “where it has been determined by the Medical Review Board that there is a probable link between the injury and the vaccine, and that the injury is serious and permanent.”
Thus far, $6,695,716 has been paid out in total.
As per a 2021 memo from the nation’s health department, “A total of $75 million in funding has been earmarked for the first five years of the program.”
