Canadian gov’t admits travel app puts fully-vaccinated people into quarantine

OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) – The Canadian federal government admitted its much-maligned ArriveCAN app, which is mandated for travelers to use when entering the county, has indeed wrongly placed fully jabbed people into quarantine.

According to a CBC report, Canadian Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino’s press secretary Audrey Champoux told them that Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) “has identified a technical glitch with the app that … can produce an erroneous notification instructing people to quarantine.”

Champoux claimed that only less than 3 percent of travelers have been affected by glitches with ArriveCAN, mostly with those using Apple smartphones.

The government claims that the problem will soon be resolved, and said that those traveling into Canada should go by information given to them by CBSA agents instead of from the travel app.
