20 But while he thought these things, behold, the Angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, the son of David, fear not to take Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her, is of the holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
2 And he spake unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat: neither for your body, what ye shall put on. 23 The life is more than meat: and the body more than the raiment. 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap: which neither have storehouse nor barn, and yet God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than fowls? 25 And which of you with taking thought, can add to his stature one cubit? 26 If ye then be not able to do the least thing, why take ye thought for the remnant?
24 Know ye not, that they which run in a race, run all, yet one receiveth the prize? so run that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that proveth masteries, abstaineth from all things: and they do it to obtain a corruptible crown: but we for an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly: so fight I, not as one that beateth the air. 27 But I beat down my body, and bring it into subjection, lest by any means after that I have preached to others, I myself should be reproved.
Romans 8:35-37 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake are we killed all day long: we are counted as sheep for the slaughter: 37 Nevertheless, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
26 I make a decree, that in all the dominion of my kingdom, men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and remaineth forever: and his kingdom shall not perish, and his dominion shall be everlasting. 27 He rescueth and delivereth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth: who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
17 For the kingdom of God, is not meat nor drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the holy Ghost. 18 For whosoever in these things serveth Christ, is acceptable unto God, and is approved of men. 19 Let us then follow those things which concern peace, and wherewith one may edify another.
5 For if we be planted with him to the similitude of his death, even so shall we be to the similitude of his resurrection, 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin,
30 Thou shalt therefore love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, that is, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
